How it works

Weekly Meal Prep & One-off Orders

We plan your week. You send me money for food.  I get the ingredients, load food and gear into your kitchen, prep, cook, pack, and stack your feasts in your fridge. I make your kitchen look like I was never there. I send you a payment request for the hours. You feast to your heart’s delight.

**RATE: More details below.

When a weekly client skips a week, I send a blast out to my one-off pool. If you want a week of custom feasts, respond first and I will work you into that week.

Event Cooking and Drop-off Catering

We plan your menu. You send me money for food.  I get the ingredients, load food and gear into your kitchen, prep, cook, and serve up food. I make your kitchen look like I was never there. I send you a payment request for the hours. The clock starts when I begin shopping and stops when the food part is done (We can decide the scope of my presence at your event).

H= Hours worked

hours worked

The clock begins when I start shopping and stops when I finish resetting your kitchen. The number of meals you wish to have prepared will impact time spent. I look for a grocery store en route to your home with adequate parking to ensure efficiency in the shopping process.

*Average for a house of 3 is ROUGHLY  7 hours.

food cost

The cost of food will vary based on what grocery stores are near your home, what market prices dictate, and whether or not you desire organic or specialty foods. The specific menu items you choose, and the number of meals you wish to have prepared will also impact food cost.

*Average for a house of 3  is ROUGHLY $150.

the menu

Typically, clients have a weekly planning call (15-20min) to determine the menu. Based on the menu, they will receive a round estimate for food cost, along with a request for electronic payment. This payment must be received before shopping can begin.

additional info

Storage: I personally prefer to store in glass (I can source if you can finance), but I can source reusable plastic bins that stack well and contain the volumes I know to be appropriate for portioning. Each week, cleaned containers must be supplied, or you will be billed for time spent emptying and cleaning containers.

Flexibility: With my background in design and my experience in hospitality, I know that everyone’s situation is different. There are a number of ways to make adjustments to this model.

**Subscriptions are done month-to-month. One month cancellation notice required. Payments are billed weekly to make services more accessible. Temporary or intermittent suspension of service will require a $75 fee per week to hold your space in the roster, unless interruption is caused by Feast Fairy.

The fee is based on minimum wage ($15) for 5 hours--an average time slot.
